Age UK and The Open University offer five steps for a longer, healthier life

Take Five to Age Well offers five steps to boost your health and wellbeing. Launching on 1 May, the campaign invites you to join a UK-wide community making small daily changes over 30 consecutive days for better ageing.

The five areas are: eat, drink, think, move and connect and engage. For each of these there are suggested SMART goals (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-sensitive) that are backed up by science.
