  • pre-register if they are new to the surgery.

Every patient requires a unique user ID to log into EMIS Access, once logged in the service is simple, and most importantly available 24/ 7. For patients with hectic lives, who work shifts or have mobilisation problems this service has proved invaluable. They are able to contact the surgery at all hours - before or after work or even in the middle of the night, it couldn’t be easier.

Registering for EMIS Access

If you are interested in applying to use this new online facility please enquire at Reception. Before you can begin to use EMIS Access, you will need to create an account. The receptionist will print your registration letter for you which contains instructions on how to create an account.

Once you have your registration letter simply follow the instructions given in the letter. If you have any difficulties registering to use EMIS Access please mention this to the receptionist who will be able to advise and assist you.

Once you have created your EMIS Access account, please destroy your registration letter as it contains data unique to you.

If your registration letter is lost or stolen before you have created your EMIS Access account, contact the practice immediately, by telephone or in person. The practice will then revoke your previous settings and generate a new registration letter for you.
